Submit your entries for 2013-2014!

Have you ever wanted to be in a published anthology? If so, make sure to submit your literary work to Prometheus before the December 15th  deadline. The theme for this year is Error, and you can submit poetry, fiction, and non-fiction works.


Prometheus is a yearly anthology that showcases the best of student literature and art, and then awards prizes for the best in each category. As long as you are a student and the work is yours, feel free to submit. There is no limit to the number of entries.


To submit, make sure your name and literature category (poetry, fiction, non-fiction) are clear and that your work is free of errors, and then email it to Only literary submissions will be accepted at this time. Art submissions will be accepted starting next semester (date to be announced shortly).

Fine Art Entries Due 1/31 and 2/1!

A new one is to be relinked shortly, but just to clarify:

The submission dates for fine art entries to Prometheus (Generation) is Thursday, January 31st and Friday, February 1st. Sorry for any inconveniences. We are really excited to see all the fine work come in!

Entries are encouraged to connect to the theme in some way, shape, or form. We look forward to seeing all the fantastic work that you’ll come up with!

-Your generation. Why is it important? What is your generation?
-What are some areas of study where generation is key? What is significant about generation as a process?
-What are some components of generation that are often overlooked?

Literary Submissions Due: Wednesday, December 19th

  • 1000-1500 word limit (Some exceptions may be made to preserve the integrity of the work. Excerpts are welcome.)

  • Drop off in Furlong Gallery with submission form
  • Artwork NOT chosen for the journal will need to be picked up the following week.
  • Artists who are selected for the journal will be asked to submit an artist statement.
